How to delete your Balanzz account and data, and what we keep afterwards.

In the mobile app
Open Settings and tap Data & export.Under Danger zone, tap Delete my account.Enter your password to confirm. Accounts that only sign in with Google skip this step.

On the web
Sign in at the Balanzz web app and open Settings → Data.Choose Delete account… and confirm.

If you can't sign in
Email privacy@balanzz.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm the request with you before deleting anything.

What happens next
Your account is locked for 30 days. Sign in during that time and choose Keep my account to cancel. After 30 days, we permanently delete:
Your profile and photo.Every account, transaction, budget, loan, IOU, recurring item, category, and tag.Your contacts and their bank and wallet details.Receipts, attachments, and any other files you uploaded.Your passkeys, linked Google sign-in, and two-factor settings.Your sign-in history, devices, notifications, and settings.Reports you filed, and everyone you blocked or who blocked you.

What we keep
A record of any payments you made — amount, date, and plan — because tax law requires it. Your name and card details are removed from it.Settle-up groups you shared with other people keep their history for the other members, with your details removed.Reports other people filed about you, so our moderation record stays complete. Your account is no longer attached to them.

Before you go
Cancel any active paid plan first. Deletion is unavailable while a paid plan is running.Export your data from the same settings screen if you want a copy. Deletion can't be undone once the 30 days are over.
